KBKW and KXRO report Mayor Bill Simpson announced at Wednesday nights City Council meeting the sign will stay. The mayor received more than 300 emails after reports that the reference to a Nirvana song would be dropped when the sign is replaced. Come as you are was added to the Welcome to Aberdeen sign in 2005 following the 10-year anniversary of Cobains 1994 death in Seattle. Cobain grew up in Aberdeen. (AP Photo/Robert Sorbo, file)
David Bowie – pracoval už ako 13-ročný. V tom čase roznášal mäsiarske výrobky a túto prácu zobral preto, aby mohol platiť za hodiny saxofónu.

Jay-Z – rapper pracoval v 80. rokoch ako drogový díler. Drogy predával v uliciach New Yorku a jeho tovar tvoril predovšetkým kokaín a crack. Podľa vlastných slov mu práve predávanie drog pomohlo neskôr uspieť, pretože ako drogový díler sa naučil zaobchádzať s peniazmi a vedieť, čo si môže dovoliť a čo nie.
